Harry E. Peden, III
Mr. Peden is the Managing Partner of the Greenwich, Connecticut based law firm Whitman Breed Abbott & Morgan LLC and head of the firm’s Business Law Department. Since 1975, he has represented individuals and business entities in connection with business, financial and corporate law matters. In particular, he has advised entrepreneurs with regard to the structuring and development of new businesses, including some that have become highly successful private and public entities. A substantial portion of his legal experience has also involved the acquisition or sale of businesses or other business combinations.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Peden’s business experience included more than five years as a commercial pilot and manager of a charter aviation business. He has been a resident of Greenwich, Connecticut for more than 30 years and has been involved in many community organizations as a Board member or officer, including the Greenwich Family YMCA (formerly, Chairman of the Board), The Children’s School (formerly, President of the Board of Trustees) and The Patricia S. Heyman Foundation (currently, President and Trustee). Mr. Peden is a graduate of Brown University and St. John’s University School of Law.
