In his role as COO, Roger is responsible for the successful beginning-to-end delivery of products to WDTS’ customer base in a growth-oriented manner that is both timely and cost-effective. Roger leads and coordinates all aspects of the operational delivery process: supply chain, hardware engineering, manufacturing, product management, software engineering, implementation, and field support.

Roger has 25 years of experience in the casino gaming and healthcare sectors, including 12 years in the commercial application of RFID in these markets.  Roger has worked extensively in Europe, Asia, and Australia. As CEO of Magellan Technology, now part of Sato Worldwide (TSE: 6287) and the company that developed PJM RFID, Roger initiated and led the development and market adoption in Australia of a PJM RFID based hospital and implant vendor ecosystem for surgical implants.  Today, over 80% of orthopedic implants in Australia are tracked into operating theaters using PJM RFID.  Subsequently, Roger consulted broadly in Asia and Europe on the commercial application and delivery of complex technology solutions into healthcare and gaming, including FedEx Supply Chain’s medical device business in Japan (NYSE: FDX).

Roger spent seven years with Progressive Gaming International Co. including five as VP of Asia Pacific.  During this time, Roger repositioned PGIC’s business to become a systems vendor and developed a market leadership position in Asia for its Casinolink Casino Management System and Caribbean Stud Poker. PGIC was later acquired by International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT).

Roger was raised in New Zealand and he and his family reside in Sydney, Australia.
