William McBeath is a senior executive with a proven track record of starting, building, growing and improving the profitability, performance, and value of companies in the gaming and resort industry. Prior to joining the Cosmopolitan, Mr. McBeath was the President, COO, and member of the Board of Directors for CityCenter Las Vegas between 2007 and 2012. In this role, Mr. McBeath successfully opened CityCenter, a 16 million square-foot luxury development which included residential towers, luxury retail offerings, luxury hotels, a condo hotel, and a 4,004 room resort and casino which, campus-wide, generated over a billion dollars in revenue and $250 million in EBITDA in its second full year of operation. CityCenter is owned by MGM Resorts International and Dubai World and includes major developments such as The Aria, Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, Vdara Hotel and Spa, Veer Towers, and The Shops at Crystals, CityCenter’s luxury retail and entertainment district.

Prior to this role, Mr. McBeath was the President and COO of Bellagio Resort and Casino from 2004 to 2007 where he led a team of 8,000 and was responsible for providing strategic, operational and executive leadership for all areas of the enterprise. Revenue for this business exceeded $1 billion annually. Mr. McBeath’s other leadership roles include President and COO of The Mirage Resort and Casino (2000-2004) and President and COO of Treasure Island Resort and Casino (1998-2000). Mr. McBeath is also currently on the Board of Directors for Revel Entertainment Group (since May 2013).

Mr. McBeath attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Administration and Management.
